Between 1996 and 2020 Mikael Fernström worked as a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at the University of Limerick in Ireland.
He is a member of the Interaction Design Centre and also affiliated with the Digital Media & Arts Research Centre.
