>Sunday evening, we were sitting in the garden looking at the sunset while listening to Lyric FM’s Nova with Bernard Clarke. This program was about Brian Eno. Great stuff, as it’s seldom you get to hear influences like Cage and Stockhausen on public radio.
Today, it’s been work as usual. What has made my day light up is David Spondike’s Schnappschuss von der Erde taht I first heard at ICA during ICAD2006. Listening to the piece, over and over again, many times, in my office, with headphones, at home, etc., has just convinced me that this is a great piece of music.
